About the Role We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive new business acquisition across the SME and corporate segment. This role will focus on identifying, engaging, and onboarding new clients while building a strong sales pipeline within the cross-border payments and FX space.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing long-term client relationships, driving revenue growth, and positioning the firm's payment and FX solutions within the Singapore market.
Key Responsibilities - Drive outbound business development activities to generate and qualify new sales opportunities within the SME and corporate segment.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline through networking, referrals, market research, and lead generation activities.
- Engage prospective clients using a consultative sales approach to understand their cross-border payment and FX requirements.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to support business growth and client retention.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and pitching through onboarding and account management.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to maximise wallet share.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth pre-sales and post-sales support.
- Consistently achieve and exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and developments within the fintech and payments landscape.
Requirements - Minimum 5 years of experience within B2B sales, business development, relationship management, or account management roles.
- Prior experience within fintech, payments, FX, corporate banking, or financial services is highly preferred.
- Strong hunter mentality with proven ability to acquire and grow new business relationships.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work collaboratively across teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset.
