About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Architect & Engineer to lead the evolution of a modern, scalable, and AI-ready CRM ecosystem. This is a high-impact role sitting at the intersection of technology, commercial operations, compliance, and product strategy.
The successful candidate will own the CRM architecture roadmap, drive platform innovation, and deliver solutions that support sales enablement, compliance-grade onboarding, and integration with payment and operational systems.
This role requires deep hands-on Dynamics expertise combined with strong stakeholder management, solution architecture capability, and long-term strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities CRM Architecture & Engineering
  • Architect, design, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions focused on scalability, performance, and user experience.
  • Lead the full solution lifecycle from discovery and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
  • Define CRM data models, governance frameworks, integration standards, and best practices.
  • Build and maintain custom entities, workflows, plugins, Power Automate flows, and advanced business logic within Dynamics 365.
  • Perform hands-on configuration, customisation, and platform administration.
Sales Enablement & Commercial Operations
  • Develop CRM capabilities that enhance pipeline management, sales tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Integrate Dynamics seamlessly with Microsoft 365 tools including SharePoint and Teams.
  • Create dashboards and reporting frameworks for quota management, forecasting, and sales performance tracking.
  • Implement client scoring, segmentation, and workflow automation to support both commercial and compliance processes.
  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership to streamline and automate operational workflows.
Power Pages & Client Portal Development
  • Design and build Power Pages portals supporting onboarding, client interaction, and self-service experiences.
  • Ensure portals are secure, performant, accessible, and tightly integrated with Dynamics 365.
Third-Party & Platform Integrations
  • Architect and implement integrations between Dynamics 365 and third-party compliance, KYC, and AML platforms.
  • Deliver integrations with payment, trading, and operational systems supporting complex transaction workflows.
  • Build secure API integrations and data pipelines using REST/SOAP APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and custom connectors.
  • Work closely with operations, compliance, and engineering teams to ensure regulatory and operational requirements are met.
Technology Roadmap & AI Enablement
  • Own and drive the long-term CRM technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Design CRM architecture to support AI-driven workflows, predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and future platform scalability.
  • Evaluate emerging Microsoft technologies including Copilot Studio, Azure AI, and Power Platform AI capabilities for future adoption.
  • Position CRM as a strategic business platform capable of supporting future products, regions, and operational growth.
Stakeholder Management & Leadership
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and trusted advisor for CRM across technology, sales, operations, and compliance functions.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Lead discovery workshops, roadmap planning sessions, and solution design discussions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and establish engineering standards and best practices.
Required Experience & Skills Technical Expertise
  • Expert-level experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service modules.
  • Advanced experience across Power Platform technologies including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Power BI.
  • Strong integration experience using REST APIs, Azure Logic Apps, custom connectors, and middleware solutions.
  • Experience integrating CRM systems with payment platforms, trading systems, or financial services infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with KYC, AML, or compliance tooling integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Azure services relevant to CRM architecture, including Azure Functions, API Management, and Service Bus.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, or AI-enabled workflow automation is highly advantageous.
Architecture & Delivery Experience
  • Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale CRM architecture and transformation projects.
  • Experience developing and managing multi-year technology roadmaps.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM governance, data modelling, business process flows, and security frameworks.
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, or TypeScript for custom development and plugins.
Qualifications
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform certifications preferred.
  • 8+ years of CRM engineering experience with at least 3 years in a lead or architecture capacity.
  • Experience within financial services, fintech, payments, or other regulated industries is highly preferred.
Soft Skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including engagement with senior leadership.
  • Strategic and hands-on mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision and execution.
