Executive, Client Support
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Hybrid)

We are partnering with a fast-growing financial technology firm that provides cross-border payments, FX, and transaction solutions to businesses globally. The company is seeking a proactive and client-focused professional to join their Client Management team in Kuala Lumpur.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities related to fiat currency transactions, remittance, and payment services.
- Support growth initiatives by identifying upsell and expansion opportunities within existing client accounts.
- Manage relationships with payment service providers to optimise operational efficiency and revenue opportunities.
- Escalate and collaborate with the Sales team when strategic or complex opportunities arise.
- Handle accurate administration and onboarding support for Value Transfer Service (VTS) clients.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Technical teams to ensure seamless client servicing.
- Provide clients and partners with daily transaction and balance reporting.
- Maintain strong client relationships by responding to inquiries and resolving payment-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of client records, transactions, and communication logs within internal systems.
- Partner with Compliance teams to ensure all client support activities adhere to regulatory and operational requirements.
- Prepare regular onboarding and client support reports, including KPIs and progress updates.
- Support additional operational and administrative responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in client support, customer service, or operations within the payments, fintech, or financial services industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Understanding of payment processing, payment gateways, FX products, and remittance services.
- Familiarity with foreign exchange quoting and transaction workflows is advantageous.
- Ability to work permanent night shift hours (4PM - 1AM) with flexibility when required.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and departments.
- Fluent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Mandarin or Chinese language capabilities will be an added advantage due to regional client interactions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Client-centric mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
