Position: Technical Product Manager (FX Trading Platform)
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to support the development of an FX trading platform. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and trading, and is well-suited for candidates coming from Product Control, SRE, or Backend Engineering backgrounds.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of FX aggregation and pricing engines
  • Assist with liquidity provider integrations (FIX / API connectivity, quote handling)
  • Partner closely with engineering teams on real-time streaming, system reliability, and latency optimisation
  • Own and enhance position management, warehousing, and aggregation capabilities
  • Support P&L calculation, reconciliation, and performance analysis
  • Build SQL-based reporting, monitoring, and diagnostics tools
  • Monitor and improve execution quality (slippage, fill rates, rejects, latency)
  • Contribute to client execution workflows (streaming, RFQ, FX spot and derivatives)
  • Support client-specific solutions and trade structuring
  • Participate in incident management, investigation, and root cause analysis
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in product control, SRE, backend engineering, or technical product roles
  • Understanding of FX products (spot, forwards, swaps, NDFs), or strong willingness to learn
  • Familiarity with real-time systems, APIs, or FIX protocol
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with trading platforms or financial systems
  • Understanding of execution quality, liquidity providers, and pricing mechanisms
  • Exposure to position management or risk systems is advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Interest in end-to-end trading systems
