General Manager (Singapore) Overview An exciting opportunity to lead the build-out and growth of a new brokerage platform across Asia. This role will take full ownership of commercial strategy, business development, and operational setup, driving expansion in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
You will play a pivotal role in establishing the business infrastructure, leading go-to-market initiatives, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the end-to-end setup and operational readiness of a new brokerage business
- Define and execute commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and regional expansion across Asia
- Build, hire, and lead a high-performing team, particularly across sales and marketing functions
- Establish scalable business processes, governance frameworks, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop and implement sales and marketing plans aligned with business objectives
- Partner with senior stakeholders to shape long-term strategy and business priorities
- Foster a high-performance, entrepreneurial culture aligned with company vision
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline
- 8-10+ years of experience in management, commercial, or business development roles within financial services
- Strong understanding of Asian financial markets, with an established industry network
- Proven track record in sales leadership and building businesses in growth or start-up environments
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute revenue-generating strategies
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- High level of commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and integrity
