Pre-Sales Executive (Buyside Solutions)
 
The Company
Our client is a leading global provider of financial software solutions, empowering the world's largest investment managers, sovereign wealth funds, and banks to manage their data and operations with precision. As they continue to expand their footprint in the investment management space, they are seeking a high-caliber Pre-Sales Executive to join the team.
 
The Role
We are looking for a Pre-Sales Executive with a minimum of 5 years of experience to drive the technical sales cycle. This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy and technical execution.
This is a product-sales-focused position. You will not just be presenting; you will be "owning" the solution. You will lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and deep-dive demonstrations that showcase how these solutions (Market Data, FRTB, IBOR, ABOR) solve the specific pain points of Front Office and Investment Management workflows.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Solution Architecting: Lead the technical discovery process to understand the client's current OEMS and investment workflow.
  • Demos & PoCs: Build and deliver high-impact product demonstrations and manage the end-to-end Proof of Concept process.
  • Commercial Partnership: Work closely with the Sales team to identify upsell opportunities and provide technical validation during negotiations.
  • Configuration: Use your technical toolkit to script and configure solutions to meet bespoke client requirements during the pre-sales phase.
Technical & Professional Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years in Pre-Sales or Technical Consulting within the FinTech/Buyside space (e.g., experience at a vendor or an investment firm).
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Investment Management workflow, specifically regarding Market Data, Risk Management (FRTB), and accounting frameworks (IBOR/ABOR).
  • Technical Toolkit: Proficiency in SQL and Python is essential. Experience with C++ and VBA for configuration and scripting purposes is highly valued. (Note: Full-scale programming is not required, but technical literacy is mandatory).
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation skills; able to translate complex technical architecture into a compelling commercial narrative for C-level stakeholders.
