Prime Brokerage Sales Associate

A leading global financial services platform is seeking a Prime Brokerage Sales Associate to join its Global Banking & Markets division. This role offers exposure to a broad institutional client base and the opportunity to work closely with senior sales professionals across equities, fixed income, financing, and securities services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support senior Prime Brokerage sales professionals in managing and growing relationships with hedge funds, asset managers, and institutional clients
  • Assist with client onboarding, documentation, and coordination across internal stakeholders (trading, operations, risk, legal, and technology)
  • Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, and responses to RFPs
  • Analyse client activity, balances, and revenue to identify cross-selling and growth opportunities
  • Monitor market developments and competitor activity relevant to prime brokerage services
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices
Required Experience & Skills
  • 1-4 years of experience within prime brokerage, institutional sales, capital markets, or a related financial services role
  • Strong understanding of equities, fixed income, financing, securities lending, and hedge fund business models
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CRM or internal sales systems is a plus
  • A collaborative mindset with strong relationship-building capabilities
