Senior Pre-Sales Leader - APAC Insurance Tech
 
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Sales Leader to spearhead sales and solution strategy for large-scale insurance transformation initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region. This is a high-impact role that will guide the end-to-end sales lifecycle for major insurance clients, shaping technology transformation and business outcomes at a regional scale.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full sales lifecycle for insurance business transformation deals — from responding to RFPs/RFIs, crafting solution blueprints and proposals, to bid-defense and deal closure.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and C-suite clients across APAC, understanding business challenges and recommending tailored insurance technology solutions.
  • Define and evolve the insurance solutions portfolio, including policy administration, claims management, underwriting systems, digital distribution and engagement platforms, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI/data-driven automation, and more.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, consultants, delivery, and vendor teams; guide pricing, risk assessment, and ensure alignment across regional execution.
  • Mentor and lead a team of solution professionals, driving best practices and ensuring high standards for pre-sales delivery.
Candidate Profile
  • 15+ years' experience in IT services, with at least 10 years focused on insurance technology and digital transformation across APAC.
  • Demonstrated success leading pre-sales for large-scale insurance transformation deals (USD 20M+), with exposure to enterprise sales and deal lifecycle management.
  • Strong technical fluency in core insurance systems (policy, claims, underwriting), modern digital platforms, cloud architecture, APIs/microservices, data analytics/AI/ML, and system integrations.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset, proven leadership and team-management capabilities, and a collaborative approach that bridges pre-sales, delivery and vendor teams.
