Client Operations Specialist

Location: Remote (Australia) Department: Product Operations Reports to: Head of Product Operations

Overview: A fast-growing RegTech SaaS and advisory firm is seeking a Client Operations Specialist to manage business-as-usual (BAU) client support, triage incoming requests, and ensure timely resolution. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients, requiring a strong mix of analytical, operational, and communication skills to deliver a seamless client experience.

Key Responsibilities:
-Serve as the primary point of contact for BAU client requests, managing triage, prioritisation, and escalation.
-Analyse ticket and issue trends to identify recurring problems and opportunities for improvement.
-Maintain proactive communication with clients through regular updates and calls.
-Collaborate with Implementation, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure smooth resolution of complex client issues.
-Execute and validate operational processes, including routine tasks and BAU pipelines.
-Monitor SLAs, escalating risks when necessary to maintain service levels.
-Document processes, maintain internal knowledge bases, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience & Qualifications:
-2-3 years of relevant industry experience in client-facing or operational roles.
-Background in financial services, fintech, or technical support environments.
-Familiarity with financial instruments, transaction workflows, or regulatory reporting is a plus.

-Comfortable working with SaaS or fintech systems.
-Collaborative team player who can work effectively across departments.
-Proactive and capable of anticipating and resolving client issues.
-Financial or regulatory understanding preferred.
