The Role: Sales Specialist, Credit and Risk Solutions
 
The Team

This organization's Credit & Risk Solutions (C&RS) business unit powers credit and risk management workflows by bringing together cutting-edge analytics, differentiated data, technology, and workflow solutions. The goal is to help customers stay ahead of competition, identify risk exposures, and spot opportunities in unpredictable market environments.
 
Capabilities span credit ratings and research, rating transition, default and recovery rate analytics, credit reports on 50+ million public and private companies, quantitative and expert-judgment probability of default and loss given default scoring models (including climate risk and China-specific models), analytical consulting services, and software for market risk, counterparty credit risk, regulatory risk capital, derivative valuation adjustments (XVA), and buy-side risk.

As part of a high-growth, globally successful sales team, you will work on multi-stakeholder deals across industries with companies that lead, innovate, and disrupt.
 
Responsibilities
You will join a specialist sales team known for its strong track record. As a member of the Asia Pacific C&RS sales organization, you will be responsible for driving new business sales opportunities across the Oceania region while contributing to overall sales goals.
  • Drive ambitious sales growth, meeting or exceeding new business quotas.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with senior executives (C-Suite, Chief Risk/Credit Officers, Heads of Divisions & Business Units, etc.).
  • Maximize revenue opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, account planning, and collaboration with account managers.
  • Develop industry-specific knowledge to conduct credible diagnostic conversations with clients.
  • Build strong understanding of the solution value proposition and communicate effectively with deal team members (account managers, product specialists, product management, etc.).
  • Stay informed on market trends, regulations, and competitor activities to contribute to business strategy.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline updates, revenue forecasts, and sales activities in Salesforce.com.
What We're Looking For
You are a results-oriented sales professional with a solid understanding of investment workflows and competitive solutions. You bring proven experience in engaging financial institutions and corporates across the Asia Pacific region.
  • 7-10 years of direct new business sales experience, preferably selling complex solutions into financial markets or multinational corporations in ASEAN.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and credit risk, fixed income, or credit markets. Background from financial data/technology providers or financial institutions/asset managers is highly desirable.
  • Established senior-level network within ASEAN financial markets is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills, with confidence in leading product demonstrations.
  • Passion for solving client challenges through financial solutions and analytical tools.
  • Integrity, positivity, and professionalism.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with energy, initiative, and urgency.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt and grow in a dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced qualifications (MBA, CFA, CMA, MAppFin) are a plus.
