Role Overview
This position plays a pivotal role in delivering a seamless and compliant onboarding experience for institutional clients, from initial contact through to regulatory clearance and trading activation. The role acts as a central coordinator, working closely with internal teams across Sales, Product, Risk, Legal, and Operations to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding journey.

Key Responsibilities
Client Onboarding & Relationship Management
  • Oversee the end-to-end onboarding lifecycle, including client outreach, operational setup, regulatory checks, and documentation review
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes across multiple internal teams
  • Lead client calls and operational meetings, serving as a primary contact throughout the onboarding process
  • Ensure timely and accurate trading setup, including credit limit configuration and electronic platform access
Regulatory & Due Diligence Oversight
  • Execute Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Identification Program (CIP), FATCA, EMIR, Dodd-Frank, and other jurisdictional requirements
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Risk functions to mitigate onboarding-related risks
  • Maintain accurate onboarding documentation and ensure all regulatory data is captured effectively
Process & Operational Efficiency
  • Leverage workflow tools to manage onboarding pipelines and tasks
  • Identify process bottlenecks and drive timely resolutions across stakeholders
  • Contribute to ongoing process enhancements and broader operational transformation initiatives
Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and new hires
  • Develop and maintain onboarding documentation, training guides, and best practices
Required Skills and Attributes
  • Strong understanding of financial markets products and global regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication skills with a client-focused mindset
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and committed to process improvement
  • Proficient in onboarding systems and familiar with cross-functional collaboration
Qualifications & Experience
  • Prior experience in client onboarding within a financial services or capital markets environment
  • In-depth knowledge of account setup, KYC/CIP procedures, and regulatory due diligence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to operate both independently and as part of a global team
  • Experience managing complex client structures, such as investor sub-funds
