Responsibilities: - Identify, research and originate new business opportunities.
- Develop, expand and build intermediary network and effective relationships to maximize opportunities for referrals and new business opportunities.
- Develop proposals that addresses clients' needs, concerns and objectives.
- Assist in the coordination and presentation of multi-jurisdictional sales proposals to international clients.
- Contribute to marketing and thought leadership activities, including generating new articles
- Provide market feedback regarding competitive offerings and prospect needs, and generate development ideas.
- Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Attend relevant industry seminars, events and conferences.
Desired Skills and Experience Key Requirements: - University Degree (Accounting/ Law/ Finance are desirable but not essential.)
- Relevant sales experience
- Own network within the Private Funds industry with relevant working experience in a commercial environment, e.g. Accounting, Law, Insurance is desirable not essential
- Prior experience in private funds would be an added advantage.
- Able to manage coordination of complex multi-jurisdictional proposals involving multiple business lines.
- Entrepreneurial business focus, self-starter, attentive to details, team player with great interpersonal skills.
- Able to "solution sell" with the ability to listen to clients and understand their needs and wants, rather than simple transactional sales.
