Head of APAC - Stock Borrow Lending & Total Return Swaps
 
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our APAC business with a focus on Stock Borrow Lending (SBL) and Total Return Swaps (TRS). This senior leadership role will be responsible for driving regional strategy, building client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of our trading solutions across key markets.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the APAC business strategy, aligning with global objectives while addressing regional market dynamics.
• Lead business development efforts across hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and broker-dealers, driving adoption of our trading solutions in SBL and TRS.
• Build and manage senior-level client relationships, ensuring high engagement and satisfaction.
• Identify new revenue opportunities and expand market share by developing innovative approaches to client needs in securities lending and derivatives.
• Partner with global product, technology, and operations teams to deliver best-in-class solutions tailored to APAC clients.
• Represent the business with regulators, exchanges, and industry associations to ensure compliance and promote thought leadership in the region.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing regional team.

Key Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in financial markets, with significant expertise in Stock Borrow Lending and Total Return Swaps.
• Strong track record in sales, business development, or senior relationship management in the APAC region.
• Deep understanding of securities financing markets, trading workflows, and client requirements.
• Proven ability to build and scale a business in a competitive environment.
• Strong network across hedge funds, asset managers, and broker-dealers in Asia-Pacific.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate at both a strategic and hands-on execution level.
