Overview:
This role is part of the Business Operations Department and reports directly to the Head of Operations. We are seeking a Senior Payment Network Manager to oversee the integration of payment services across operational, development, and business teams. This position is ideal for a proactive individual experienced in onboarding new payment vendors—from vendor selection through to implementation—with strong knowledge of global payment methods.
You’ll be responsible for improving service performance, managing vendor relationships, enhancing processes, and ensuring robust governance across payment networks. The ideal candidate will be confident in challenging the status quo, driving innovation, and working cross-functionally to implement scalable and compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source, evaluate, and onboard new payment vendors, managing the process from selection to integration.
  • Identify market trends and strategic opportunities, especially in cross-border payments.
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle, including compliance, implementation, go-to-market strategy, and performance optimization.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and contractual agreements with payment partners and tech vendors.
  • Collaborate with global Payment Operations and Development teams to understand service features and manage their operational impact.
  • Own and manage vendor relationships, resolving technical issues and optimizing features and pricing.
  • Document services and updates, including detailed process flows, decision trees, and procedural guides.
  • Conduct regular data analysis to validate vendor performance and optimize costs.
  • Maintain and monitor global charge structures, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Track and assess payment requests to identify process gaps, training needs, or missing information—deliver internal training where needed.
  • Engage with client-facing teams regularly to gather feedback, resolve issues, and drive improvements.
  • Stay up to date on regulatory changes and assess their impact on operations.
Compliance Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a strong understanding of AML, KYC, CASS (or equivalent), GDPR, banking sanctions, and regional financial regulations.
  • Ensure all client fund handling processes remain fully compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism and confidentiality across all internal and external interactions.
Required Experience & Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, fintech, or payments, with strong exposure to payments infrastructure and operations.
  • Demonstrated success in leading the launch of payment products across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Solid track record in vendor management, onboarding, and commercial negotiations.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in complex, fast-moving environments with a proactive, solutions-focused attitude.
  • Familiarity with CASS or equivalent regulations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, BI platforms, or ThoughtSpot.
