Role: Project Manager – Implementations
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

Overview Our client is a global enterprise software vendor delivering trading, risk, and post-trade solutions to banks, asset managers, and financial institutions. Their platform is integrated across asset classes and used by major capital markets participants worldwide.

They are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead client implementation engagements from post-sale through to go-live. The role sits within a specialized delivery team responsible for managing complex, multi-stakeholder integration projects for Tier 1 institutions.

You’ll be expected to coordinate with internal technical teams, external system integrators, and client stakeholders to ensure delivery is on time, within scope, and aligned to contractual standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle from kick-off to handover, including planning, execution, risk management, and closure
• Define detailed project plans and staffing models, and establish governance frameworks with internal and external teams
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during implementation, ensuring expectations are managed and progress is communicated clearly
• Coordinate with external system integrators and client-side project managers to align priorities and resolve delivery bottlenecks
• Provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders, internal delivery leads, and global functional teams

Desired Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of Project Management experience in enterprise software or financial services technology
• Strong understanding of capital markets workflows; experience in front-to-back trading platform delivery
• Proven ability to manage external client relationships and third-party implementation partners
• Familiarity with software implementation methodologies and tools; PMP or PMI certification a plus
• Comfortable working across global teams and engaging stakeholders from both business and technology domains
