Role: Pre-Sales Engineer
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid - 3 days in office)
Comp: $130K - $140K Base + Commissions
Overview Our client is a leading financial technology company serving investment management and financial services institutions globally. They provide comprehensive solutions for investment operations, accounting, and data management.
The business is seeking a dynamic Pre-Sales Consultant to join their growing New York team, playing a pivotal role in bridging customer business requirements with technical solution delivery.
The team are highly collaborative and cross-functional, so expect this person to have strong abilities in relaying product feedback across the organization, key areas to bolster strategy, and being their technical SME for prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead pre-sales processes including discovery sessions, demonstrations, and product presentations to prospects and clients
- Manage formal Proof of Concepts from inception to completion
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Professional Services teams
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their infrastructure, business needs, and operational challenges
- Address detailed inquiries in RFIs and RFPs with precision and technical expertise
- Support industry events and customer seminars alongside sales teams
- Develop expert-level understanding of the company's extensive solution portfolio
Desired Qualifications: - 3-5+ YoE in Pre-Sales or Sales Engineering, preferably exposed to Corporate Actions or Reconciliation products/services
- Proven expertise in managing customer Proof of Concepts successfully
- Strong understanding of investment management, asset servicing, investment accounting, or investment operations
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to engage C-Level executives to end-users
- Analytical and consultative approach to client engagements with strong business acumen
