A high-growth fintech firm is reengineering core infrastructure within the securities finance ecosystem. Purpose-built for institutional workflows, the platform supports end-to-end trading and lifecycle management across a range of buy- and sell-side participants. With a team combining deep capital markets experience and modern engineering, the firm is gaining traction as a trusted partner to firms looking to streamline operations, reduce risk, and future-proof their trading stack.

The Role

This newly created Sales Executive role will focus on driving new client acquisition across institutional finance, with a focus on securities lending and financing desks. You’ll work closely with trading, operations, and technology leaders to position the platform as a core component of their infrastructure.
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in the securities finance space, either from a fintech or capital markets background, and bring both commercial acumen and domain fluency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new business across a defined territory of institutional clients
  • Own the full sales lifecycle, from initial engagement to close
  • Translate complex workflows and pain points into tailored value propositions
  • Serve as a trusted partner to stakeholders across trading, operations, and IT
  • Work cross-functionally with product, client success, and leadership to support onboarding and long-term engagement
  • Represent the firm in client meetings, commercial forums, and industry events
You Bring
  • 5–10 years of experience in securities finance, preferably from a trading desk, prime services, or fintech provider
  • Strong track record in sales and/or trading within financial markets
  • Existing network of contacts across agent lenders, borrowers, hedge funds, or custodians
  • Consultative sales approach with experience navigating long, complex deal cycles
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent communication skills and intellectual agility; able to engage sophisticated counterparties with credibility
