The Role
This newly created Sales Executive role will focus on driving new client acquisition across institutional finance, with a focus on securities lending and financing desks. You’ll work closely with trading, operations, and technology leaders to position the platform as a core component of their infrastructure.
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in the securities finance space, either from a fintech or capital markets background, and bring both commercial acumen and domain fluency.
Key Responsibilities - Drive new business across a defined territory of institutional clients
- Own the full sales lifecycle, from initial engagement to close
- Translate complex workflows and pain points into tailored value propositions
- Serve as a trusted partner to stakeholders across trading, operations, and IT
- Work cross-functionally with product, client success, and leadership to support onboarding and long-term engagement
- Represent the firm in client meetings, commercial forums, and industry events
You Bring - 5–10 years of experience in securities finance, preferably from a trading desk, prime services, or fintech provider
- Strong track record in sales and/or trading within financial markets
- Existing network of contacts across agent lenders, borrowers, hedge funds, or custodians
- Consultative sales approach with experience navigating long, complex deal cycles
- Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication skills and intellectual agility; able to engage sophisticated counterparties with credibility
