The role is responsible for managing key “Gold” custody client relationships across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, driving revenue retention and growth through strategic engagement, cross-sell initiatives, and superior client experience. Clients include banks, asset managers, sovereigns, insurers, and corporates.
Key Responsibilities - Client Management & Strategy
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for strategic custody clients.
- Develop and execute tailored client strategies aligned with account plans.
- Drive cross-selling across custody and Financial Markets products.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and ensure CRMx is kept up-to-date.
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client goals and anticipating future needs.
- Revenue Growth & Business Development
- Identify and convert incremental wallet opportunities across global markets.
- Collaborate with product teams to influence offerings and enhance client value.
- Participate in strategic reviews, workshops, and industry forums.
- Operational Excellence
- Coordinate deal teams and lead RFP responses for new mandates.
- Drive execution and implementation of custody solutions in partnership with internal teams.
- Monitor service quality, client feedback, and resolve high-impact issues.
- Balance client needs with business profitability and standardization goals.
- Market & Product Insight
- Stay updated on market trends, client behavior, and competitive activity.
- Share market insights with clients to support strategic decisions.
- Support innovation by feeding product gaps and opportunities back to product teams.
