Client Services (Execution/Dealing) Specialist Responsibilities - Ensure prompt and best execution/dealing services in accordance with local regulations, FIM, policy, and procedures across all active global markets.
- Provide execution services for equities, futures, commodities, options, leveraged FX, OTC, ETD, and CFD offerings.
- A clear understanding of all rules and regulations pertaining to market offerings through the desk.
- Deliver excellent communication in a professional manner to clients across all desk-related services.
- Multi-task, prioritize, and manage all client correspondences and requests across a variety of communication channels.
- Familiarize and educate clients on all our existing proprietary platforms including trading systems and administrative portals, aligning with our self-service and highly automated business model.
- Execute margin control and margin calls jointly with the Risk team to ensure all regulatory responsibilities are met.
- As a business unit, acting in compliance and integrity as the first line of defense for all issues. Proper assessment and escalation of issues to senior management as and when required.
- Ownership of issues, proper handover from shift to shift, and handling of all outstanding items.
- Willing to learn and understand more of the business workflow beyond the scope to better control and manage all communications coming into the desk and delegation out if necessary.
- Monitor execution flows and constantly seek improvements in the daily workflow to reduce the cost and increase efficiency.
- Generate ideas and assume responsibility for new projects to pursue systematic and automated processes with improved speed, cost, and reliability in mind.
Qualifications and Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Banking / Finance, Economics, Actuarial Sciences, Business or Related Fields. (Preferably with the relevant CMFAS modules). Non-related disciplines are welcomed as well.
- Preferably 1 to 5 years of Futures and Options trading/dealing experience.
- Experience with front-end trading systems for professional clients and institutions preferred.
- Strong Customer Service and Client Relationship Management skills
- Strong Interpersonal Communication and analytical skills
- Independent, self-motivated, results-driven, with a high level of integrity and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing and able to rotate between Tokyo, London, and New York trading hours whenever necessary.
- Experience and good knowledge in derivatives products such as FX, futures, and options preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Mandarin is preferred.
