Operations Associate - Liquidity Management

The company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join our Operations Team, specifically within our Liquidity Management team. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring efficient margin and cash management, collateral optimization, and the implementation of new initiatives. If you have a background in operations, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in VBA, SQL, and Python, this opportunity might be the perfect fit for you.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Margin and Cash Management: Respond to margin calls daily and collaborate with brokers to optimize cash allocation efficiently.
• Collateral Optimization: Work on optimizing collateral with counterparties and ensure timely posting and settlement of collateral.
• New Initiatives: Engage in new initiatives as this is a developing function, including ad hoc projects such as process automation, integration, and the introduction of new functions.

Requirements:

• 3+ Years of Relevant Operations Experience: Previous experience in operations is essential for success in this role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in VBA and SQL is required, with Python skills considered a strong advantage.
• Cash/Liquidity Management Knowledge: A working knowledge of cash and liquidity management is preferred.
• Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively within the team and with external partners.
• Analytical and Detail-Oriented: Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail are essential for this role.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
