Female Operations MD, UK Nearshore

Increasingly our clients ask us to help build up senior management bench strength in nearshore locations.

Challenge

As these non-core locations mature many business-as-usual functions can be staffed internally. However, when it comes to senior site leadership there is often a need to look to the external market.

Approach

With this in mind, Trevose Partners have nurtured a pipeline of candidates who are willing to move to particular locations within the UK and US as and when an appropriate opportunity arises. This includes candidates who wish to return to their hometown or just want a different quality of life than is on offers in major cities.

Outcome

One such example is a female MD within operations who we relocated from one near shore location to another. The candidate’s primary driver was to take on a new challenge having been in her previous role for several years. With no alternative employer where she lived, and unwilling to move to London, Trevose Partners identified an opportunity elsewhere in the country that provided both a new challenge and a way to further her career in the North of England.
